These little cuties will be leaving us on April 1st. We have sold all of them already!!! It's been alot of FUN having them...but it sure is ALOT of work!!! We will miss each one of them dearly but we are exited for their new families and they are all going to GREAT homes. They each have their own, funny little personalities and the girls are going to be SO sad when they leave

Yes its true...this Saturday, March 21st Twilight comes out on DVD!!!! I can hardly wait!!! I plan on camping out at Walmart on Friday night until the stroke of midnight when I can grab my copy!!! Jk... I probably won't go that far but I will be bombing over to pick up my copy first thing Sat morning! I won't be accepting ANY calls or emails on Saturday....as I will be stuffing my face with redvines, popcorn, m&m's, diet coke, and many other goodies as I watch TWILIGHT over and over again!!! Last night I told (more like warned) Dave that it was coming out on Sat and he rolled his eyes and said "Great". He wasn't happy about it. Any one else plan on vegging out on Sat and watching it over and over??? OH EDWARD!!!!!!

YuMMy StRaWbeRRy SaLad!!!!!

I heart this time of year...Spring is almost in the air and yummy stawberry's are in stores and on sale!!! I have this wonderful recipe for a strawberry spinich salad with an amazing dressing, Brianna's Blush Wine Vinigarette that is to die for!!! I got this recipe from my sis-in-law Crissy, who got it from my other sis-in-law Lyndi. I have had Lyndi's salad before and I believe she puts toasted walnuts in hers...Is this true Lyndi??? So you just buy the plain pre-washed ready to eat spinach in the bagged salad section...I get a huge tub at Sam's club for around 3 bucks...Can't beat that! Then you just add sliced stawberries ( I like ALOT) and then the Yummy Strawberry Vinagarette!!! Lyndi let me know if you add anything else to this...It's so good and the dressing is the BEST I have ever had!!!(you can get dressing at almost any store, usually cheaper at Wal-Mart) VERY healthy and VERY dELiC!!!!

Anni and Santi are the proud parents to 7, yes 7 new pups! We have 4 girls and 3 boys. They were born on Valentines Day. They are super cute now..but its going to be super crazy when they start running around!!! Our last batch of puppies (we only had 4) were all red like Anni, these pups are darker with black ears..like Santi. We are selling these cute babies and they will be ready the 2nd week in April! Pup Anyone??? (pics takes from phone..not all that great;)

Petite Cheesecakes

Ingredients:

2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1 cup sugar ,plus 4 Tablespoons

8 Tbsp butter (1 cube), melted

3 packages (8oz each) cream cheese, softened

3 eggs

2 Tbsp lemon juice

2 tsp vanilla

2 cans of Comstock® or Wilderness® More Fruit Cherry, Blueberry, Peach or Strawberry Fruit Filling or Topping

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Line 2- 12 cup muffin pans (24) with paper liners.

3. Mix crumbs, 4 Tbsp sugar and butter together until well combined. Press crumb mixture into the bottoms of each paper lined cup. Bake for 4-6 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool on rack. REDUCE the oven to 325'.

4. Using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add remaining 1 cup sugar and continue beating until smooth, scraping down sides of bowl as needed. Add the eggs, lemon juice and vanilla; beat on LOW speed until well combined.

5. Fill each cup with the cheesecake mixture (leaving a little room on top for filling) Bake 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool completely on a rack.

6. Refrigerate for about 45 mins to set up. Top each equally with the fruit filling before serving. Makes 24 mini cheesecakes. Refrigerate leftovers.
Prep time: 20 minutes Bake time: 20-25 minutes EnJoy!!!

miNi Lil' cHeeScAkE's!!!!

While sitting in the doctor's office last friday I came upon this recipe in a Martha Stewart magazine. Anyone who knows me...knows I love cheesecake!!! Actually we all do. Dave, Brook, Tay...we are all fans. Well, I made these on Sat and we gobbled them all up!!!! I made another batch tonite (per Dave's request) and I hope I can stay away from them!! This can't be helping my diet. If anyone wants the recipe let me know..Im too tired to type it right now:) The recipe is from the Comstock Fruit Pie Filling Brand. We used cherry and blueberry pie filling but any flavor would do or even fresh fruit!!! Enjoy the pic!!!

AuNt KaThY

Last friday we headed up to Orem to attend Dave's aunt Kathy's funeral. She was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer and then they found out it spread to her brain and other parts of her body. It was a very fast and aggressive cancer and we are so glad that she did not have to suffer long. The funeral was beautiful and everything went perfect. The songs that were sung we so beautiful and the speakers did an amazing job. Dave was able to sing with the rest of his siblings and all of his cousins. They sang "Family's can be Together Forever " and I think everyone in the whole chapel was in tears. It was cold and rainy the morning of the funeral but as we walked out of the chapel to go to the cemetary it was a so sunny and it stayed that way during the whole time we were at the cemetary. Dave was a pallbearer along with his brother and cousins. It was a beautiful service. We are so thankful to have known Kathy in this life and we are sure we will see her again. She was such a strong, vibrant, happy woman and we still can't believe this has all happened. Her husband Mike and son Tyler have remained so strong through all of this. Kathy was an amazing woman and we are going to miss her!!!!!

SwEEt LittLe MiLLiE!!!

We went to St.George on Friday to meet the new baby of the family, MiLLiE KaTe. She is so SWEET and so TEENIE TINY and we just love her! I of course forgot to pack my cam (which was setting right by the door! ARR!!!) So I just snapped a couple of pics with my phone! We LOVE Millie!!! We then headed up to Parowan and stayed the weekend there. We had alot of fun but meeting MiLLiE was the BEST!!

hAppY hAppY birTHdaY bRooKlyn!!!

Brook turned a whopping 9 years old on New Years Day!!! Yes its true folks, I have a 9 year old! Just typing that makes me feel so old! Anyhoo, we usually have a big family party for her bday since it falls on a holiday, but this year it was just us and Brook's cousin Stacia came over. We went to dinner at Brook's favorite restaurant, CARINO'S on New Years Eve. We had lots of yummy food and lots of Italian Soda's! Then we all stayed up till about 12:10 (exept Dave, he crashed early) and we rang in the new year! We told B she could go anywhere on her bday, roller-skating, ice-skating, bowling, ect. She decided she wanted to go roller-skating and then she changed her mind and decided she wanted to go sledding at Mt. Charleston. So on her bday we started off the morn by going to her favorite breakfast place, DUNKIN DONUTS! Then we headed up the mountain and went sledding! We had alot of fun but it was very crowded and very icy! Then we came home and recouped and then we went to another one of Brook's favorite places, PANDA EXPRESS and had dinner. We were very sick of fast food by the end of the day!!! Brook got a new cell phone and some ds games and a ds cover. Grandma Diane made her a very CUTE quilt and Grandma Gail sent her a way COOL lava lamp! It was a GREAT day!

MiLLie iS hErE!!!

Dave's sis Lyndi had her baby girl this morning!!! Millie was born 6 lbs 14 oz and 19 inches long. She was born at 2:27 am. Lyndi sent me a text and said she has tons of black hair! We are so happy for their family and we can't wait to meet Millie Kate Dunlavy!!!! Congrats Pat & Lyndi!!!!!

Grandma Dotty's Bread!!!

Well for the past few months I have been getting all of my Grandma Dotty's homeade-from scratch recipes. She is the best cook ever!!! I wanted to get as many as I could so I can pass them down to Brook and have her recipes long after she is gone. I finally got her homeade bread recipe and I am going to make it today. The only kind of bread I have ever made is from a bread machine so I am a little nervous and I'm hoping it turns out! If any one has ever had my Granny's bread (Jillynne & Mom) you know how good it really is. My grandma's mom died when she was very young and I had always thought she got the recipe from her, but yesterday she told me that she got it out of a newspaper. It is the best bread in the entire world!!! She told me she isn't able to make it anymore because its too much work, so I hope I can pull it off and take her some when we go to visit!!! Wish me luck!!!
