This are a cute and fun halloween treat. Target has the BEST selection of Halloween cookies, cakes mixes, brownies, molds, ect ect. I got the cake mix and icing there, and the cute little Reynolds Ghost Molds. The kids loooooooved em!!! And I did too! SPOOKTACULAR!!!
The directions say to fill these "half full"...I would say a little less than half full...they kinda overflowed and I had to cut them down

And the finished product...not my best decorating job...I was in a hurry! You could get creative and make the eyes and mouth. Pics are from cell....not the best:)

Well, after I asked for some tips and ideas for Brook's halloween party on my facebook, I was given some really cute recipes and ideas that were too cute not to share!! My cousin Libby gave me the cute idea for "Mummy Dogs" and My Aunt Mert gave me the yummy recipe to Green Jello popcorn/Witch Hand goodie bags:) Here they are:
MUMMY DOGS!!!
INGREDIENTS
1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls or 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury® Crescent Recipe Creations™ refrigerated flaky dough sheet
2 1/2 slices American cheese, quartered (2.5 oz)
10 large hot dogs
Cooking spray
Mustard or ketchup, if desired
DIRECTIONS
1.
Heat oven to 375°F.
2.
If using crescent rolls: Unroll dough; separate at perforations, creating 4 rectangles. Press perforations to seal. If using dough sheet: Unroll dough; cut into 4 rectangles.
3.
With knife or kitchen scissors, cut each rectangle lengthwise into 10 pieces, making a total of 40 pieces of dough. Slice cheese slices into quarters (1/2 slice cheese, cut in half).
4.
Wrap 4 pieces of dough around each hot dog and 1/4 slice of cheese to look like "bandages," stretching dough slightly to completely cover hot dog. About 1/2 inch from one end of each hot dog, separate "bandages" so hot dog shows through for "face." On ungreased large cookie sheet, place wrapped hot dogs (cheese side down); spray dough lightly with cooking spray.
5.
Bake 13 to 17 minutes or until dough is light golden brown and hot dogs are hot. With mustard, draw features on "face." Thanks for the idea Libby!!! The kids will LOVE them!!!
GREEN JELLO POPCORN/WITCH HANDS!!!
1/4 cup butter
1 bag mini marshmellows (10 1/2 oz pkg)
1 small pkg green jello (green for hands) purple would work
3 qts. popped popcorn
Clear Food Handlers Gloves
Melt butter & marshmellows and stir in geletin until well mixed. Pour marshmellow mixture over popcorn in large bowl, mix lightly until well coated. Make into balls or into gloves (place in gloves after cooled on cookie sheet)
Add candy corn for fingernails
Place plastic spider on finger of glove. And you have a creepy, green, edible WITCH HAND!!!!! Thanks Auntie for the CUTE recipe!!!!!! The goody bags will be a HIT!!!
ps. you can also just use regular buttered popcorn as well:)))

Well its never fun getting older...and I really dread my bday for many reasons. For one, I am not fond of getting older...who is??? And number two.....Johns bday is the day before mine, so I am usually pretty blUe!!! But this year Dave fulfilled my long time wish this year and suprised me with my dream dog!!! I have wanted a white, female, teacup chihuahua for sometime now...well he went to pick up the lil girl and saw this little guy who melted his heart!! He was the only dark, longhaired guy out of the litter and he was also the RuNT!!! He is so CuTE and is the sWeeTest pup eVer!!! He is like a little human and has the sweetest temperment. You would have to see him in real life to understand this. He is just adorable. I let B name him...she is a die hard fan of Beverly Hills Chihuahua so she named him after two dogs on that show, Poppy, and Delgado. LoL. His name is Poppy Delgado Bean and boy do we love him!!!
ps...for those of you who know we found a cat awhile ago at smiths....no we did not keep him!! Dont want everyone thinking we have a gazillion pets LoL!!! And I am hoping when my moms very old dog Brodie passes away (whom we all love very much) she will take Anni girl. All she has to do is get her de-barked!! And hopefully we have the big house w a big backyard SooN!!!! Say Hello to Poppy Delgado!!!!!
Poppy & my sisters dog Dixie...she was like a mother to him on his first trip to UT.
